The Protimeter Mini is a compact, general purpose pin type moisture meter used for assessing moisture conditions in buildings.
The Protimeter Mini can be used for making rapid moisture assessments in a wide range of building materials including wood, masonry, drywall, plaster and concrete. The instrument measuring pins are small and sharp which means measurements can be taken at the surface with virtually no mark left behind.
The definitive general purpose moisture meter for building surveying, timber inspection and a very broad range of other applications. Ergonomic design and tactile grip for comfort and ease of use. - Protimeter Aquant -
Protimeter Aquant Non-Invasive Moisture Meter
The Protimeter Aquant is used to assess and monitor the relative moisture level of building materials including plaster, drywall, masonry, concrete and fiberglass (GRP). It is ideal for checking the relative moisture condition of building elements such as solid walls and floors prior to more rigorous and time-consuming investigative procedures that may be required. The Aquant can be used to detect the presence of moisture behind floor and wall coverings such as ceramic tile and vinyl floor coverings. It can also be used for surveying GRP boat hulls for the early detection of damp spots that could lead to blistering caused by osmosis.
The Aquant has a digital display that is synchronized with a color-coded LED scale. The display shows the relative moisture level of the material under investigation on a scale of 0-999 and the color coded LED scale indicates the material’s moisture condition. To use, the Aquant is simply held against the surface of the material under investigation. The relative moisture level is measured by radio frequency to a nominal depth of 10-20mm. There are no needles to mark the surface and the Aquant is not adversely affected by moisture.

- Protimeter Hygromaster -
Versatile hygrometer that measures humidity, air temperature and dewpoint
The Protimeter HygroMaster is an easy to use hygrometer with built in data logging capability. The HygroMaster is a hand-held instrument for taking spot measurements and for logging humidity and temperature values. Quick measurements of relative humidity, dew point, mixing ratio (grains per pound/parts per million by weight) and ambient temperature are shown on a split display at the touch of a button. Surface temperature measurements can also be measured with an optional surface temperature sensor, making this instrument especially suitable for condensation risk assessment and diagnosis.
Product Description:
There are many applications where moisture and temperature trend analysis is required to gain a full understanding of a situation. The HygroMaster has a data-logging mode to meet this requirement. The user sets the instrument to record measurements as required and leaves it in place for the required period of time. The memory contents are then downloaded to a PC using optional software where the logged measurements are displayed in tabular and graphical form.
Two types of humidity probes are offered for use with the HygroMaster, the Hygrostick (POL750) and the HumiStick(POL7750-2). The HygroStick in optimized for measuring humidity in the 30-100% rh range and may be used with Protimeter humidity sleeves that are used when measuring the equilibrium relative humidity of solid walls and floors. The HumiStick is a fast responding sensor with a range of 1-100% rh making it more suitable for general air quality applications, including outputs from dehumidifiers and HVAC systems.

The Dual Mode Moisture Meter
This unique Surveymaster moisture meter has two modes of operation - search and measure. Search and measure help the user to distinguish sub-surface from surface moisture, essential information when trying to establish the extent and cause of a dampness problem.

- Protimeter Moisture Measurement System (MMS) -
The Complete Moisture Measurement and Diagnosis System For Building Environments
The Protimeter Moisture Measurement System (MMS) Plus is a complete moisture measurement device for use in many different building related industries. The MMS combines pin type and non-invasive modes of measurement together with a thermo-hygrometer in one state-of-the-art instrument.
Product Description:
The instrument is compact and simple to use, having a large liquid crystal display and a cluster of just four buttons for selecting the operational modes. It is supplied in a nylon carry case with zipper together with the necessary accessories for a complete moisture survey.
When used as a moisture meter, the MMS Plus has two operational modes known as Search and Measure. By selecting Search mode and holding the instrument against building materials such as walls, the user obtains a qualitative indication of the moisture level beneath the surface or under a floor covering. By selecting Measure mode and using the standard pin or 5” deep wall probes to gather further information at the surface and up to 5” in depth below the surface.
Quick measurements of relative humidity, dew point, mixing ratio (grains per pound/parts per million by weight) and ambient temperature are shown at the touch of a button. Surface temperature measurements can also be measured with the standard supplied surface temperature sensor (BLD5804) making this instrument especially suitable for condensation risk assessment and diagnosis.

This compact instrument has eight calibration scales, enabling the user to take accurate moisture measurements in 150 wood species. Flood Damage Restoration:
Accurately measuring the atmospheric conditions during building dry down is key to ensuring drying equipment is used efficiently. Psyclone rapidly responds to changes in humidity and temperature while calculating the specific humidity readings to reduce errors and save time. During hot air drying, Psyclone also calculates enthalpy to maximize equipment performance.
Building Surveys
Psyclone is ideal for condensation risk assessment and diagnosis applications. Using the optional surface temperature sensor, the meter can display actual surface temperature and dew point temperatures. This feature determine whether a moist surface is due to condensation or other sources. For example, negative temperature differences confirm condensation, whereas positive differences confirm condensation is not occurring.
HVAC/R System Validation
Psyclone is specifically designed with time saving features for the HVAC technician or building maintenance professional concerned with HVAC performance validation. Using the percent relative humidity (% RH) and temperature measurements as inputs, Psyclone calculates the necessary derived psychometric parameters, such as enthalpy, dew point, and wet bulb temperatures needed to assess and troubleshoot the performance and energy efficiency of any HVAC system.
