The Complete Moisture Measurement and Diagnosis System For Building Environments
The Protimeter Moisture Measurement System (MMS) Plus is a complete moisture measurement device for use in many different building related industries. The MMS combines pin type and non-invasive modes of measurement together with a thermo-hygrometer in one state-of-the-art instrument.
Product Description:
The instrument is compact and simple to use, having a large liquid crystal display and a cluster of just four buttons for selecting the operational modes. It is supplied in a nylon carry case with zipper together with the necessary accessories for a complete moisture survey.
When used as a moisture meter, the MMS Plus has two operational modes known as Search and Measure. By selecting Search mode and holding the instrument against building materials such as walls, the user obtains a qualitative indication of the moisture level beneath the surface or under a floor covering. By selecting Measure mode and using the standard pin or 5” deep wall probes to gather further information at the surface and up to 5” in depth below the surface.
Quick measurements of relative humidity, dew point, mixing ratio (grains per pound/parts per million by weight) and ambient temperature are shown at the touch of a button. Surface temperature measurements can also be measured with the standard supplied surface temperature sensor (BLD5804) making this instrument especially suitable for condensation risk assessment and diagnosis.

- Identify the presence of moisture on and below surfaces and beneath coverings like ceramic tiles
- Measure the relative humidity, dew point and temperature
- Confirm the presence - or otherwise - of condensation on surfaces.
- Store results for download to PC

The Dual Mode Moisture Meter
This unique Surveymaster moisture meter has two modes of operation - search and measure. Search and measure help the user to distinguish sub-surface from surface moisture, essential information when trying to establish the extent and cause of a dampness problem.

Flood Damage Restoration:
Accurately measuring the atmospheric conditions during building dry down is key to ensuring drying equipment is used efficiently. Psyclone rapidly responds to changes in humidity and temperature while calculating the specific humidity readings to reduce errors and save time. During hot air drying, Psyclone also calculates enthalpy to maximize equipment performance.
Building Surveys
Psyclone is ideal for condensation risk assessment and diagnosis applications. Using the optional surface temperature sensor, the meter can display actual surface temperature and dew point temperatures. This feature determine whether a moist surface is due to condensation or other sources. For example, negative temperature differences confirm condensation, whereas positive differences confirm condensation is not occurring.
HVAC/R System Validation
Psyclone is specifically designed with time saving features for the HVAC technician or building maintenance professional concerned with HVAC performance validation. Using the percent relative humidity (% RH) and temperature measurements as inputs, Psyclone calculates the necessary derived psychometric parameters, such as enthalpy, dew point, and wet bulb temperatures needed to assess and troubleshoot the performance and energy efficiency of any HVAC system.

Versatile hygrometer that measures humidity, air temperature and dewpoint
The Protimeter HygroMaster is an easy to use hygrometer with built in data logging capability. The HygroMaster is a hand-held instrument for taking spot measurements and for logging humidity and temperature values. Quick measurements of relative humidity, dew point, mixing ratio (grains per pound/parts per million by weight) and ambient temperature are shown on a split display at the touch of a button. Surface temperature measurements can also be measured with an optional surface temperature sensor, making this instrument especially suitable for condensation risk assessment and diagnosis.
Product Description:
There are many applications where moisture and temperature trend analysis is required to gain a full understanding of a situation. The HygroMaster has a data-logging mode to meet this requirement. The user sets the instrument to record measurements as required and leaves it in place for the required period of time. The memory contents are then downloaded to a PC using optional software where the logged measurements are displayed in tabular and graphical form.
Two types of humidity probes are offered for use with the HygroMaster, the Hygrostick (POL750) and the HumiStick(POL7750-2). The HygroStick in optimized for measuring humidity in the 30-100% rh range and may be used with Protimeter humidity sleeves that are used when measuring the equilibrium relative humidity of solid walls and floors. The HumiStick is a fast responding sensor with a range of 1-100% rh making it more suitable for general air quality applications, including outputs from dehumidifiers and HVAC systems.
